Front Range Waterfowl

Our hunts take place along Colorado's Northern Front Range in the famed Golden Triangle.  This region typically has a resident population of 20,000 Giant and Greater Canada Geese and during peak migration times can hold upwards of 250,000 birds consisting of several sub-species of Canada Geese.  Our guides will strive to give you the experience of a lifetime.  Whether its flocks of mallards cupped and committed or back pedaling Canada Geese in one of our privately leased corn fields Ponderosa Waterfowl Adventures remains dedicated to putting you on the birds.

All hunts are conducted on strategically located prime farm fields.  We have repetitive hunting leases on multiple farms in the Fort Collins, Greeley, Johnstown, Wellington, and Windsor area to allow us to rotate our hunting pressure and rest our fields.  We daily pre-scout our fields to insure birds will be actively utilizing our selected locations.

Hunts take place in harvested fields such as corn, wheat, alfalfa, as well as sod.  Open water is also available
